Stay Ready Arkansas is a statewide initiative dedicated to preventing the spread of HIV and AIDS by connecting individuals at risk with the tools, resources, and support they need to stay healthy. Our primary focus is increasing access to PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis)—a safe and effective medication that helps prevent HIV before exposure occurs.

DoxyPEP (Doxycycline Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) is a preventive treatment that helps reduce the risk of certain sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including syphilis and chlamydia, when taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex. It involves taking a single 200mg dose of doxycycline and is recommended for individuals at higher risk of STIs.
DoxyPEP is not a substitute for routine STI testing or other prevention methods like condoms and PrEP for HIV. Talk to a healthcare provider to see if DoxyPEP is right for you.
For those who prefer the convenience of testing at home, we offer at-home HIV test kits. These kits are easy to use and come with clear instructions to help you conduct the test in the privacy of your own home. Results are quick, and follow-up care is just a phone call away.
Patients who receive preventative medications like PrEP and DoxyPEP, or receive comprehensive HIV care have access to convenient lab kits sent directly to their home. These At-Home Test Kits allow for necessary tests to be taken from the comfort of a patient’s home, making it easier to monitor a patient’s health.
